AVON LAKE, Ohio — An employee at Sweet Kiddles in Avon Lake has been fired following what the daycare center is calling an 'unfortunate situation and isolated incident.' Robert Kimmel, owner of Sweet Kiddles, confirmed to 3News that a child was injured at their Avon Lake location on Friday, Sept. 9. Sweet Kiddles is a flexible childcare center in Northeast Ohio with locations in Avon Lake, Hudson, Medina, Strongsville and University Circle. "On Friday, September 9, a toddler suffered an injury while under the watch of one of our caregivers at our Avon Lake location.
